Milan’s hunt for Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga now gets a new update from the Italian media.
CalcioMercato.it writes there’s now a ‘sprint’ from the Rossoneri to get the deal done, and the Serie A side are said to be ‘ready to sink the blow’ for the player.
Their story backs up claims that ‘a summit’ has been set to take place soon, but this story believes it’s set ‘for next week’ with ‘all parties involved’ for them to try to find the ideal formula to get the business done.
Previous reports from Italy had suggested the meeting with agents would happen this week, so this new update delays things a little, although Spurs now seem to be set to participate in the encounter.
It’s said Tottenham demanded €30m to let Tanganga go, and Milan now want a discount on that price.
The outlet add there’s competition for the signing, and that’s a reason why the Rossoneri want to ‘cut the time’.
Milan’s intention is said to be to sign Tanganga on a loan with obligation to redeem, but it isn’t made very clear if that’s the formula Tottenham are willing to accept.
