As Leeds United continue to struggle in the Premier League, it will be no surprise to see vultures start to circle for their players.
Jesse Marsch’s side lost 3-0 to Aston Villa on Thursday evening, to increase the club’s worries of relegation to the Championship.
They currently find themselves two places and two points outside of the relegation zone, but the two teams below them, Everton and Burnley, have games in hand which could prove important in the final standings.
Raphinha being linked with an exit is no surprise, and claims of a big move to Barcelona, albeit potentially at cut-price, have emerged again this week.
Those claims have inevitably made their way to the Catalan media, and Sport cover it on Friday.
According to the Catalan newspaper, sources at Barcelona have told them the club ‘does not have needs on the side in the line of attack’. Therefore, they wouldn’t be looking to make what would be a reasonably big investment in the Leeds United player.
Things could change depending on what happens with Adama Traore, Ousmane Dembele and others.
