Despite reports this week Manchester City will not let Jason Denayer head to Turkey this summer, Fanatik say Galatasaray are ready to offer the Premier League side €1.5m to loan the player for the season.

It’s been well documented in the Turkish press that Denayer favours a return to Galatasaray, after a spell with the club during the 2015/16 season, but Manchester City are currently blocking the deal.

Denayer spent last season on loan at Sunderland despite interest from Galatasaray, and it’s understood he wants a move to the Turkish giants. The Belgium international has already turned down a move to Spanish side Girona, against Manchester City’s wishes.

It’s not clear whether an offer of €1.5m will change Manchester City’s stance on letting Denayer sign for Galatasaray, but the Turkish side remain determined to bring in the player.

The 22-year old Belgian international still has three years left on his Manchester City contract, but looks surplus to requirements at the Etihad.

Denayer wasn’t included in Pep Guardiola’s match-day squad for the opening game of the season against Brighton, and it’s unlikely he’ll be selected this weekend.
