Since recovering from a foot injury, Vincent Janssen was on the pitch for just 36 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur in the 2018/19 season.

Reports coming out of Turkey suggest Fenerbahce, Standard Liege, Anderlecht and Schalke have set their sights on the striker, with interest also coming from China.

Het Laatste Nieuws has a report on the Dutchman and the headline reads ‘Anderlecht have an eye on Vincent Janssen’.

With one year left on his contract, the 25-year-old’s future is likely to be away from the Champions League runners-up and he could leave the club soon.

Spurs signed the player from AZ Alkmaar in 2016, but the frontman has struggled to impress since then. HLN believes Anderlecht ‘would be a great opportunity’ for Janssen to ‘breathe new life into his career’.

On Saturday, the Jupiler Pro League side’s sporting director Michael Verschueren stressed “we are almost there”, when discussing signing players for his club.

Time should tell if Anderlecht will be successful in beating competition from other clubs for Janssen’s signature.
