On Wednesday, Gazzetta dello Sport stated West Ham United were set to hold fresh talks with Juventus over a deal for Denis Zakaria in the summer window.
Tutto Juve now claim a conference call between the two clubs is scheduled today, to try and agree the midfielder’s transfer.
The outlet states West Ham sources have informed them that they will make an offer to sign the 26-year-old on a season-long loan deal with a buying option set at €18m. The Turin club, on the other hand, value Zakaria at €25m.
Despite the difference, the report says it’s not ruled out that the two clubs may meet in the middle.
Sky Italia are also claiming an offer of around €18m is coming from West Ham.
It’s claimed there’s ‘continuous contacts’ between David Moyes’ side and Juve and ‘next week’ could be decisive for the two clubs to find the final agreement for Zakaria’s transfer.
Sky make it clear the Old Lady are working to sell the player and use those funds to carry out new signings in this window.
