With the end of the month getting closer, the saga involving Marcos Rojo and Estudiantes de La Plata should have its final chapters very soon.

Local newspaper El Dia today has a story saying how crucial this week will be for the Argentine club, since they must sort out the situations of several players.

Marcos Rojo’s loan spell from Manchester United is said to be the most ‘complex’ of them, since his deal expires in a couple of weeks.

El Dia writes that Estudiantes will do ‘the impossible’ to keep the player, and he’s already expressed his wish to stay in La Plata.

Estudiantes’ problem is that Manchester United would like to make a reasonable amount from his sale, and that’s why a transfer to another European side sounds a lot more likely.

The outlet also points out that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already claimed he’s not counting on Rojo to stay with the squad for next season.

Despite becoming involved in controversies for breaking quarantine in the past couple of months, Marcos Rojo seems to be making a better use of his free time now, as he was seen donating food to people in need this weekend.
