Spanish newspaper Marca have a big feature in their Wednesday edition on Kylian Mbappe and the growing interest in the player. Some of Europe’s biggest clubs are already interested in the 18 year old and AS Monaco are in a situation to play them all off against each other in the summer.

Marca touch upon Manchester City’s €40m offer for Mbappe last summer, something which Monaco immediately knocked back without thought. At the time it seemed strange for Monaco, a self confessed selling club, to refuse such an amount of money for a player who hadn’t fully broken through, but they obviously knew a bigger offer would be around the corner.

Now Marca believe Monaco could get even more than double their money, with the Spanish newspaper looking at around €90m. French claims of PSG readying an €80m offer are covered and it looks like the price is simply going higher and higher.

It’s easy to assume that’s not the case, given the Jesus deal was agreed in early August and the Mbappe offer made several weeks later.

Should Manchester City be as keen as their €40m offer suggests they are, then now is the time to decide how high they’re prepared to go.
