Bayern Munich have identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane as the target to bolster their strike-force next season.
The Bundesliga winners didn’t sign a replacement for Robert Lewandowski after he left for Barcelona in the last window.
Bayern have decided to wait until next summer and the Tottenham star is in their sights. Earlier claims from Germany stated that Antonio Conte’s man likes the Bavarian club and this claim had pleased Bayern sporting director, Hasan Salihamidžić.
On Tuesday, Kane was quizzed about the reports linking him to Bayern. He said they are a ‘top, top club’, but stressed his immediate focus is at Spurs.
TZ have a report relaying comments made by Bayern’s present and former leaders over signing a new striker. The outlet also mentions the England international and claims a deal for him would be expensive for Julian Nagelsmann’s side.
TZ say, according to their own information, the ‘parameters between Bayern and Kane are 100 percent correct’, meaning if the German champions can find an agreement with the player, they are ‘ready to break the €100m mark as a fee’ to get him out of Tottenham.
