Galatasaray are in talks with Tottenham over a move for Japhet Tanganga, having already reached an agreement with the player for the move.
That’s according to Fanatik, who say the Turkish side are working to find an agreement with Spurs to send the youngster to Turkey.
The website reports that Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim gave the Yellow-Reds a list of targets to work on, and Tanganga was among them.
They have already reached an agreement with the Tottenham defender and are now working to do the same with the club on loan with an option to buy.
Galatasaray’s aim is to add young players to their squad to work under Terim, and Tanganga fits the bill, and so they are now working on the ‘most suitable option’ in terms of price and performance.
Whether Spurs are willing to sanction a deal isn’t mentioned, with Tanganga having impressed since being handed his debut back in 2019.
He currently has a deal with Tottenham until 2025, which would suggest that they believe in him for the future, although Galatasaray are certainly willing to test that this summer.
