Everton’s Beto has been endlessly linked with a move back to Serie A over the past few months.
AS Roma have been mentioned as a potential destination and last week there was talk that Torino have also made contact with the striker’s entourage in a bid to land him in January.
An update from Italy arrived yesterday, with TuttoSport reporting about the Everton man’s future at Goodison Park.
They reiterate that Torino like Beto, but the club are exercising caution in their move.
There is a belief from them that the 26-year-old will join AS Roma in January and therefore the Turin club do not want to be dragged along as they fear missing out on other targets like Napoli’s Giovanni Simeone and Inter Milan’s Marko Arnautovic.
The report states that the chances of the Toffees striker going out on loan are low and knowing that the player is likely destined to join Roma, Torino want to focus on other profiles.
On top of that, there is said to be uncertainty about Everton’s own plans and Torino feel it’s a mess they should perhaps avoid.
