Turkish newspaper Fanatik report Galatasaray want to complete the signing of Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen before the Super Lig season restarts on the 12th of September.
The Norwegian midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray in recent days and it’s claimed the Istanbul side will make a loan offer for him.
Fanatik claim a deal for Johansen seems close but Gala still have other targets in mind such as Josef de Souza and Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma. A decision will be made in the coming days on which player they bring in.
However, it seems Johansen will be the midfielder to brought in and Mario Lemina’s move to Fulham could pave the way for the Norway international to head to the Super Lig.
The 29 year old, who also had a spell at Scottish giants Celtic, made 33 appearances in the Championship with Fulham as they achieved promotion to the Premier League.
Johansen’s contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of June 2022.
