Turkish website Sporx claim Besiktas are closing in on loaning Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye, with an option to buy.
The Senegalese midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at fellow Super Lig side Trabzonspor, and helped them win their first piece of silverware in ten years.
After his loan spell at Trabzonspor came to an end, the 29 year old has been linked with moves to other Turkish clubs including Buyuksehir Belediye Erzurumspor (Yes, that is a club) and his former side Galatasaray.
Sporx claim an agreement is not far away between Besiktas and Stoke City, and that the Istanbul club are close to loaning him with an option to buy, which is set at €2m. It’s also reported Besiktas won’t pay any loan fee for Ndiaye.
If the move goes ahead the Senegalese midfielder will reportedly earn €1.5m from Besiktas for one season.
The former Osmanlispor player made 17 appearances for Trabzonspor last season, scoring one goal. His contract with Stoke City will expire at the end of June 2022.
