Turkish newspaper Takvim claim Trabzonspor are close to signing West Bromwich Albion’s Oliver Burke, as well as former Sunderland winger Wahbi Khazri, who’s currently playing for French club Saint Etienne.
It’s reported the Turkish club are looking to complete deals for both players, and that they are currently leading the race to sign Burke.
The West Brom player has been linked with a move to Turkey in recent weeks, and Takvim report Burke has told his agent to find him a club where he’ll get regular first-team football.
Takvim also say Trabzonspor are in constant contact with West Brom over the Scottish winger and are hoping they can complete the signing of the player before the new season starts.
Burke spent last season on loan at La Liga side Alaves where he made 31 league appearances. Previous to that he had a six month spell with Celtic.
His contract at the Hawthorns will expire at the end of June 2022.
