Among the many rumours about the future of Leeds United star Raphinha, there have been the reports saying Bayern Munich are working to sign him.
That’s a story which started in Brazil, with TNT Sports sounding sure the move was in the works. The Bavarian interest in the player was then backed up by the Italian media, and today, we get to see even the German press saying the Bundesliga giants are ‘actually dealing‘ with the transfer.
However, in an update from Sky Germany, those claims are all dismissed.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg comes up on Twitter to say that the player is not a topic at Bayern Munich. He not only rules out a January move, but says the transfer shouldn’t happen in the summer either.
That first report from Brazil had claimed that Raphinha would move to Bayern in a deal worth €50m, and Avaí, his former club, were already counting on the percentage they’d get from the transfer.
TNT Sports, however, never brought an update on the situation, so we now wait and see if they’ll confront Sky Germany’s new claims.
