FC Copenhagen have taken Manchester United youngster Johan Guadagno on trial ahead of a possible move to the club.
That’s according to Bold, who carry comments from Peter Christiansen regarding the move from Old Trafford.
The website details that Copenhagen have taken Guadagno from Manchester United and fellow young goalkeeper Håvard Hetle from Sogndal on trial.
The pair are set to join the club for their first training match of the summer against Hvidovre on Thursday, where those in charge will run the eye over them.
There’s no hint of a permanent move as yet, but sports director Christiansen is optimistic about the situation and suggested a transfer could be on the cards in future, saying; “We have been given a unique opportunity to look at two options, which we have followed for a long time.”
For those Manchester United fans wondering who Guadagno is, he’s currently a part of the Under 18’s squad.
He arrived at Old Trafford from IF Brommapojkarna U17 in 2019 and has made nine appearances for the club since, all of them coming in the U18 Premier League last season.
His contract with the club runs until 2023, but should this trial work out; there’s every chance he’ll be leaving in the near future.
