Gareth Bale’s move to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning collapsed, and the reasons have been given as either the forward’s family urging him not to make the switch, or Real Madrid pulling the plug on a free transfer.
Tuesday’s edition of Sport explains Madrid president Florentino Pérez’s financial demands were why Jiangsu Suning failed to secure the Welshman’s services.
