Fanatik claim Galatasaray are still keeping tabs on Everton striker Oumar Niasse as they prepare for Bafetimbi Gomis’ departure.

We recently covered reports the Istanbul club are interested in the Everton player.

The Turkish newspaper report Galatasaray will make a bid for the Senegalese striker if they sell Gomis, and their manager Fatih Terim remains keen working with the player.

It’s reported Terim is impressed with Niasse and feels his game is suited to the Turkish Super Lig.

According to Fanatik, Galatasaray are in constant contact with Niasse as they want to sign the player before the 31st of August, the transfer deadline for Turkish clubs.

Niasse seems to be a part of Marco Silva’s plans going forward but due to the presence of Cenk Tosun, Sandro Ramirez and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the Turkish club hopes there could be a chance.

The Everton attacker has previously been linked with a return to Turkey in past transfer windows.
