Having Jorge Mendes by Wolverhampton Wanderers’ side has obviously helped the club to get to a new level, finding deals that would sound impossible a few years ago.

But now the super agent could work on the departure of one of their biggest stars, according to claims from Italy this Tuesday.

Website Calcio Mercato says Juventus are to make several changes in their midfield for the next season, and one of the targets they have is Ruben Neves.

The player is seen by Maurizio Sarri as an option who can do multiple roles in midfield, with his set pieces being another reason to go after him.

Since Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid with big help from Jorge Mendes, Calcio Mercato says there’s a very good relationship with the agent, and that’s what they would use to get a deal for Ruben Neves.

It’s said that Wolves are demanding between €40m and €50m for the Portuguese star. To lower that price, Juve would try to include defender Daniele Rugani in a deal, in case he doesn’t leave the club before that.

Ruben Neves for €40-50m? Good luck with that, Juve.
