With the success that Gabriel Magalhães has had at Arsenal since signing from Lille, it isn’t entirely surprising to see them potentially interested in a player like Gleison Bremer.

After all, the Brazilian has impressed greatly at Torino this season, catching the eye of many clubs around Europe, including the Gunners.

The Edu Gaspar connection could be of help here if Arsenal decide to turn it into something more than just interest, but we’ll have to wait and see if they do.

For the time being, Gazzetta dello Sport explain the Emirates side are just one of the few sides to have enquired about the player, with the newspaper claiming Torino have ‘received phone calls’ from the London side for Bremer.

As for the price here, there have been suggestions that after his recent renewal, a fee of €25m upwards could be enough, but this article doesn’t mention that.

In fact, they believe the price could go beyond €50m in the current market, especially when teams have previously spent far more than that on players such as Harry Maguire and Ben Chilwell.

Gazzetta say that with his performances, Bremer’s value is ‘certainly flying’, and could ‘break through the €50m mark’.

Something for Arsenal to think about if they plan on signing him, knowing full well that William Saliba will likely be returning in the summer from Marseille too.
