Juventus have received ‘interesting offers’ for midfielder Weston McKennie, who is set to leave the club before deadline day.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham are in the race for the American.
McKennie has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the last week after Juventus made it clear they are happy to sell to fund a new midfielder.
Everton joined the race yesterday and we speculated that their interest could come as part of Juventus’ decision to move for Moise Kean.
Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen but Tuttosport say the Blues have presented an ‘interesting offer’ for the midfielder regardless.
They say that the American has ‘a lot of market’ in the Premier League, especially among the ‘medium-sized’ clubs and name Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham as those really pushing at this moment in time.
The nature of the bids from all three isn’t mentioned but it is stated that Juventus are waiting for McKennie to decide on what’s been presented to him.
If he decides to move then they have already made moves to sign a replacement in the form of Borussia Dortmund’s Axel Witsel, who is available for €5m as his contract expires next summer.
If McKennie is interested in any of the offers isn’t known but Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham have made their moves regardless as they compete to bring him to the Premier League.
