Jorginho followed Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea in 2018 and a year later, the manager left the Blues for Juventus.
The midfielder was linked with a move to the Serie A winners last summer and reports have continued to talk about the Old Lady’s interest in the Brazil-born Italy international.
Speaking to Tutto Juve in February, Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos stressed his client’s priority is to continue at Stamford Bridge. Santos also admitted Jorginho would evaluate an offer from Juventus, if there were to be one.
The sports editorial team of Italy based television network 7 Gold have discussed about the 28-year-old’s future at Chelsea and Area Napoli have relayed their comments.
It’s stated that Juve would be ready to ‘give’ Miralem Pjanić to Frank Lampard’s side as a part of the deal that would see Jorginho move in the opposite direction.
Jorginho shares a good relation with Sarri after ‘doing some great things’ at Napoli and Chelsea. The report claims ‘it would be an excellent signing’ for Juventus, especially considering that Pjanić has had a disappointing season.
7 Gold’s sports editorial team adds ‘we will know more in the coming weeks’.
