Sabah report Galatasaray are likely to test Everton’s resolve once again by making a bid for Oumar Niasse.
The Turkish club have parted ways with Bafetimbi Gomis, their top scorer last season, and subsequently they’ve turned their attention to Eveton’s Niasse.
According to Sabah, Galatasaray asked about the availability of Niasse during their talks with Everton over Henry Onyekuru but the Merseyside club snubbed their approach for the Senegal international.
However, Galatasaray are confident of agreeing a deal with the Toffees with just days left of the Super Lig transfer window. The Istanbul club have been linked with the forward in previous windows.
Niasse previously played in Turkey during the 2013/14 season with Akhisarspor.
Sabah also report that Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is looking to add two forwards to his squad before the 31st of August deadline, and Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck is also an option.
Niasse is contracted to Everton until June 2020 and has featured in the opening two games this season.
