According to Turkish website Fotospor, Trabzonspor are showing an interest in Everton striker Oumar Niasse.
The 29 year old’s contract with Everton is due to expire at the end of the season and it seems he’s not in Carlo Ancelotti’s future plans.
A return to Turkey has been talked up in the Turkish media for the past few years but never materialised. However, Fotospor claim Trabzonspor are now looking to snatch him on a free transfer in the summer.
Niasse is said to be keen on a return to Turkey having played there during the 2013/14 season with Akhisarspor, before earning his move to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.
This month he’s been linked with a move back to Russia, but reports indicated he’s rejected the opportunity.
His time with Everton has been a disappointment after the Premier League side paid €17.9m in 2016 when Roberto Martinez was in charge.
Niasse has had loan spells at Hull City and Cardiff City during his time at Goodison Park.
