A target for many clubs in the summer, Hamed Junior Traoré missed the start of the season due to a foot injury.

He returned to play for the first time on October 15th, but the interest in him never dwindled, with West Ham United, Tottenham and Brighton & Hove Albion all interested in him.

The Seagulls being in that list shouldn’t come as a surprise, as their new manager is Roberto De Zerbi, who has previously worked with the player at Sassuolo.

While he inherited a good squad at Brighton from Graham Potter, it’s clear not everything is to the Italian’s liking, and changes are bound to happen in the near future, potentially as early as January.

As for West Ham, their interest in an attacking midfielder was clear during the summer, but they eventually decided to lump money on Lucas Paqueta, who has impressed since arriving from Lyon.

Tottenham, down their end, are always on the lookout for more recruits, as Antonio Conte, despite the early success of this season, still wants to improve his squad to compete with the strongest teams in the league.

Injuries to the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison have recently hurt their progress, and a bit more depth in the creative department would certainly go a long way to help going forward.

With Tottenham, West Ham and Brighton all interested, Sassuolo know there would be a good deal to pull off here, which is why, according to Milan Live, they are ‘ready to sell him’.

Milan are also keen, meaning there is ‘great competition’ for the signing, which can only help the selling club get a better price if an auction take place.

The website state, however, that Sassuolo wouldn’t want a January deal, but ‘may not be able to hold him back’ in the summer.

They want to ‘sell him at the highest possible price, over €30m’, and West Ham ‘could soon come forward’, ‘without forgetting’ the likes of Tottenham and Brighton.
