Fanatik claim Galatasaray will start talks with Everton to sign Henry Onyekuru on a permanent move as the Turkish club have been impressed with the Nigerian’s performances since his arrival last summer.

The youngster joined the Turkish champions on loan in the last window due to his continuing problems getting a work permit in England to play for Everton.

Onyekuru has scored nine goals in the league for Galatasaray this season and Fanatik claim Galatasaray want to keep the 22 year old beyond this season.

It’s reported the Everton player also wants to stay at Galatasaray and he’s informed the Istanbul club about his wishes.

The Turkish newspaper claim Galatasaray are hoping they can sign the Nigeria international for around €10m but if Everton demand more, then Galatasaray will try to loan him again for the 2019/20 campaign.

It’s looking a things from a slant optimistic for Gala.

Onyekuru has been the subject of interest from the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG in recent weeks, according to claims, but Fanatik state Galatasaray are confident they can get the player.

The youngster faces an important period in his career, with the summer window deciding what will be the next step.
