Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are interested in signing Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic ahead of the summer window.
The Turkish side will be in the transfer market for a centre forward next season as they are looking to part ways with Mbwana Samatta, who they signed from Aston Villa last year.
It’s been widely covered in the Turkish media that Fener are also interested in their former striker Vedat Muriqi, who’s endured a tough spell since signing for Lazio just under 12 months ago. Fotomac say Cim Bom could look to partner Muriqi with Mitrovic in a new-look attack.
Fotomac adds Fenerbahce are preparing to make a loan offer with an option to buy the Fulham player, and that the interest from the Istanbul side is said to be very serious.
The 26-year-old has had a disappointing season with Fulham scoring just three goals in 27 appearances. Mitrovic’s contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of June 2024.
