According to Turkish newspaper Star, Besiktas are ready to make a move to sign Everton attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Croatia international is currently on loan with CSKA Moscow from Everton.

We covered initial claims from Turkey that Besiktas are interested in signing the 21 year old and Star say the Turkish club could now make a loan offer to get the player.

Vlasic has been in impressive form for CSKA Moscow this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists in 29 games.

Besiktas are likely to part ways with Shinji Kagawa at the end of the season and are looking for a replacement for the Japan international, with the Everton owned player an option.

Recent reports in the Russia press suggested the Croatian is likely to leave CSKA at the end of the season although the player has gone on record to say he’d like to remain with the Moscow club beyond this season.
