There’s a lot of excitement in the Italian press when it comes to Ken Sema potentially staying in Serie A following a successful loan spell with Udinese.

The winger, loaned from Watford for the season, was a regular under both his managers this season, catching the eye of Fiorentina in the process.

While Udinese could still keep him, there appears to be some pressure from the club owned by Rocco Commisso, as Corriere dello Sport go with ‘EVERYTHING ON SEMA” when talking about their summer plans.

Beppe Iachini, Fiorentina’s manager, is a big fan of the Watford loanee, wanting him as well as Dalbert for his left hand side, whom they have secured on loan for another year from Inter.

Described as a ‘well-known satisfaction’, it’s said that a negotiation ‘has been outlined if not started’ between the Serie A side and the Hornets for the player.

Even if they haven’t, it’s made clear ‘Fiorentina keeps him under control’, ready to ‘launch the right attack at the right moment’.

We’ll have to see what Watford say about all this, but considering they didn’t want him last year, there’s little chance they’ll want him for their Championship season either.
