As Napoli continue to be hopeful of pulling out a deal with Chelsea for the transfer of Armando Broja, RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato brought some news about the chase.
Live on Special Calciomercato (via Calcio Napoli 24), the reporter claimed there’s already a conversation between the Serie A side the player’s entourage, and the big problem here is the interest from West Ham United.
It’s said the Hammers are currently offering Chelsea’s Broja a higher salary and his agents a bigger commission, so that makes it more difficult for Napoli.
The Italian club are said to be ‘ready to invest’ €25m in the signing.
Now, even though Ciro Venerato brings that information on West Ham’s attracting offer for his entourage, the journalist doesn’t make it clear if the London side would outbid Napoli in terms of a fee for the transfer (although recent reports suggest they would).
While the two clubs battle for the signing, this is undoubtedly a comfortable situation for Chelsea, who will now sit and wait to see who will put more money on the table.
