AC Milan are reportedly ready to block the attempts from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for their right-back Davide Calabria.
It’s website Calcio Mercato who claims it today, saying the Rossoneri have big plans for the player at the club and don’t want to let him go in the summer.
The report says that in England, ‘they are convinced’ that the Red Devils and the Spurs will both go for the 22-year-old. However, this all started with claims in Italy last week, so they can’t shift the blame so easily.
Calabria has 27 appearances for Milan this season, finally guaranteeing his place as the right-back. Calcio Mercato says both manager Gennaro Gattuso and the club’s board trust him for the future, so they will work hard to block attempts from Tottenham, United or anyone else.
Last week, claims from Italy had already linked Calabria to Manchester United. However, Milan News had also said that the Italian club have no intention to let him go and would work on offering the player a new contract.
