According to Sabah, Besiktas have reached an agreement with Watford’s Stefano Okaka and FC Porto’s Vincent Aboubakar, but the club’s president Fikret Orman will make the final decision with regards to who he will bring in before the Turkish transfer window closes next week.
Besiktas are looking to part ways with 26 year old Umut Nayir following reports of interest from Serie A side Lecce, and recent reports from Turkey suggested the Black Eagles will only allow him to leave if they sign a striker.
Today, Sabah claims the Turkish side could look to seal a deal for the Watford player before the Super Lig transfer deadline, but they are keeping their options open.
The Turkish side have spent €17.5m so far on transfers this summer and it’s reported Orman will bring in a forward who is within their financial budget.
It’s believed Okaka would be ‘guaranteed’ as a first choice for the Istanbul club and a move away from Watford could help kick start his career, however, the finances of a deal appear to be holding things up.
