Torino have ‘re-established relations’ with the agents of Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet to sign him this summer.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who say manager Ivan Juric would ‘gladly return’ him to his squad.
Praet spent last season on loan with the Italian side after it was made clear he was not a part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the campaign.
They’re keen to make the move a permanent one this summer, but negotiations with Leicester over a deal are yet to reach a positive conclusion.
Indeed, reports from Italy have made it clear that Torino were pulling out of the race and that Praet could move somewhere else, with Fiorentina then keen (but they have since dropped out).
That was then followed by claims this week that Torino were gearing up to make another attempt, and TMW back that up.
According to their information, a move for the Leicester man is ‘back on’, and the Granata have ‘re-establised relations’ with his agents over the move.
That’s because manager Juric ‘would gladly’ have the Belgian in his team again after Praet established himself as a regular in the side last season.
It remains to be seen whether Torino can secure a deal with Leicester, though, with the two clubs’ respective valuations of Praet known to be quite far apart at this moment in time.
