HaberTurk report Fenerbahce are looking to sign Diego Costa from Chelsea before the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday.

The Turkish newspaper exclusively claim Fenerbahce have held talks with Chelsea over a potential move for Costa. The Spain international hasn’t been included in Antonio Conte’s Champions League squad, after spending the entire summer away from Chelsea.

Fenerbahce have reportedly held talks with Chelsea officials during the past 10 days, and the Turkish giants are looking to loan the forward for one season.

Costa has been holding out for a move to his former club Atletico Madrid all window, but with their transfer ban the Chelsea outcast will now have to wait until January to get a move to Spain.

HaberTurk say Fenerbahce are very much in the picture to sign Costa, and the Turkish club will do everything they can to land him before Friday’s deadline.

However, with the Chelsea player having a desire to rejoin Atletico Madrid a deal will be difficult for Fenerbahce.
