Arsenal may continue to be involved in the race for Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo, but the competition is only getting tougher.

The Gunners are today again mentioned by the Italian media, where TuttoMercatoWeb director Niccolo Ceccarini was interviewed by Radio Toscana.

In quotes relayed by Fiorentina News, the journalist pointed out the many clubs who fight for the signing, with Arsenal included.

“Fiorentina will never spend 15 million euros for Grabara. For Sutalo there are 4 clubs ready to put at least 20 million for the player. From Leipzig, to Arsenal, West Ham and Ajax,” Niccolo Ceccarini told Radio Toscana.

Now regarding Ajax’s interest, it’s TuttoMercatoWeb who shares a fresh update on the offer arriving from Amsterdam.

They feature a report claiming that after Dinamo Zagreb turned down offers worth €12m and €15m, the Eredivisie side are now putting on the table €19m plus €4m in bonuses.

The Croatian side are aware of the big auction that is going on, and between €20m and €25m up front are requested to take the defender.

So in case Arsenal are that interested in the signing, they not only need to act quicker to beat the competition, but should also have to place a considerable bid to convince Dinamo Zagreb.
