As time goes by, Anderson Talisca keeps showing his talents, but his transfer situation is far from undecided. On loan from Benfica to Besiktas until the end of the 2017-18 season, the player only needs the Turkish club to pay an agreed fee so he can sign for them permanently.

Liverpool have been linked to Talisca repeatedly, but Jurgen Klopp will be left pretty much powerless if Besiktas pay the fee and the Brazilian is happy to make the move.

However, as revealed by club president Fikret Orman to NTV, it’s not so likely the Turkish club will be able to do so: “Besiktas do not have the budget to pay €23m, we will look at it.”

Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira has already said Talisca will not wear the club’s shirt again due to controversial comments from the player after his exit. So if Besiktas don’t keep him after the end of the loan, it’s very likely Benfica will do their best to kick him out of the club.

Both Liverpool and Wolverhampton were linked to the player last summer, when Jorge Mendes was looking for a move. Liverpool scouts were seen in Turkey last month, days after the club were linked to Talisca once again.
