Cesare Casadei was not even on the bench for Chelsea during their loss to Ipswich Town.
He’s only been on the bench four times in the Premier League and speculation has grown about his future at Chelsea.
While the likes of Lazio and Monza have been linked with the midfielder, another Italian club has now come forward for the 21-year-old.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the club in question is Torino and they have made their offer for the player. They want to sign him permanently and want to execute what has been described as a ‘Nico-Paz-like’ move.
Chelsea will have a buyback clause – like Real Madrid had when they sold Paz to Serie A side Como in the summer.
The report also mentions that Lazio are interested in the Italian, but they haven’t spoken to the Blues yet about their move.
This comes after it was suggested that Enzo Maresca’s side only wanted a permanent sale and the fee reported was over €30m. It remains to be seen how much Torino have put forward in their offer.
