Loaned to Burnley last season, Halil Dervişoğlu has returned to Brentford FC, who will now have to decide what to do with him.
The Bees signed the forward back in 2020 from Sparta Rotterdam for €3m, and while he may not have developed the way they wanted him to, he has suitors back in Turkey, where Besiktas are keen.
This latest update comes from Fotomac, who have an article on the recent moves from the Süper Lig club for the 23-year-old.
They explain that after Brentford’s rejection of the initial offer of a free transfer + 50% of a future sale, Besiktas are going to come back for a second attempt.
In fact, they are ‘preparing to make a new offer’ to Thomas Frank’s side, and this time around, they will include a ‘certain amount of transfer fee’ in the deal.
They also add that on top of that, they will include ‘a share from the next sale’, although the new percentage hasn’t been revealed just yet.
Something to keep an eye on for Brentford fans.
