Barcelona are ‘praying’ Premier League clubs will come in this summer and sign some of the players on the fringe of Ronald Koeman’s first team, reports Sunday’s edition of AS.

The Catalan club desperately need to bring some money in, with their finances in something of a continual mess. There’s also the issue of Lionel Messi’s renewal, and the huge amount of money that’s going to cost the club.

One of the players who is very much up for sale is Martin Braithwaite, and that’s been the case since not long after the striker joined the club. West Ham are credited with interest and it’s stated he could have moved to the Hammers, but ‘for some reason’ that transfer didn’t materialise last summer.

The red carpet will be rolled out for David Moyes’ side to make a swoop, and West Ham can likely complete the signing for something around €15-20m.

Barcelona should be relatively easy to deal with, although the player himself could be a tougher nut to crack.
