Everton continue to be busy in the summer transfer window, and there could be a significant, for the squad at least, output on the way soon.

The arrival of Jordan Pickford from Sunderland has killed any lingering dream Joel Robles had about being Everton’s long term first choice.

Ronald Koeman needed to find an upgrade and did, and subsequently Joel looks set for a return to Spanish football, with several clubs linked already

Marca claim that Joel is a ‘priority’ for Deportivo La Coruna, and the club’s first choice goalkeeper to sign this summer. The club and player are in negotiations to reach a deal, after a possible transfer to Getafe went cold for Joel.

The Everton player is the latest in a growing line of goalkeepers to be linked with Deportivo this summer, and Marca say the club have spoken to a selection.

However, like many things with Depor, previous deals will have collapsed on price, so Everton would need to be very flexible.

Joel Robles has one year left on his contract at Goodison Park.
