At the beginning of last week we covered claims from Italy that Patrick Cutrone to Fiorentina could be done within 24 hours.

That timeframe came and went and nothing happened, but the reports of a move have been constant, with claims coming from the Italian media throughout each day since.

Earlier today we covered a report which explained a meeting is likely to be held tomorrow between the parties involved. It couldn’t happen today as it’s a public holiday in Italy for Epiphany, and Fiorentina have had a match, meaning their officials were busy elsewhere.

That report stated ‘white smoke’ (agreement) wasn’t yet imminent because the two clubs involved needed to find the basis of a deal, with there still being plenty to agree.

Now TMW reports Fiorentina want ‘white smoke within 48 hours’.

La Viola are said to be ‘one step away’ from signing Cutrone, with them ‘very close to an agreement’ with Wolves.

There’s no explanation on the figures involved or the structure of a deal.
