Milliyet journalist Serdar Saridag reports Besiktas are interested in re-signing Fulham goalkeeper Fabri.

Saridag claims Fabri wants to return to his former club after a disappointing spell at Fulham. The Spanish goalkeeper made only two appearances in his debut season with the Premier League side, before being loaned to La Liga side Mallorca during the last campaign.

It’s reported the 32 year old is now keen to return to Istanbul and the Black Eagles are considering making an offer for the player.

Besiktas have reportedly opened talks with Fabri’s agent over a potential move and Saridag claims they have presented an offer to the Spanish goalkeeper.

According to Saridag, Besiktas’ contract offer will not match what Fabri is earning at Fulham, but the former Deportivo player is keen to play regular first-team football. The Super Lig club are in the market for an experienced keeper after Loris Karius returned to Liverpool.

Fabri’s contract at Craven Cottage will expire at the end of June 2021.
