Fanatik report Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu has given the green light to loan Vincent Janssen from Tottenham Hotspur for another season.

It’s been reported the Dutchman is now a priority for Fenerbahce, and Cocu is looking to work with the Tottenham player next season.

Fenerbahce’s board are now reportedly in talks with Tottenham for the 23 year old but Fanatik said they are determined to pay less than they did last season.

New Fenerbahce president Ali Y.Koc has been critical about the €5m they paid Spurs to loan the Netherlands international.

This week it’s also been claimed in Turkey that Janssen is keen to return to Fenerbahce for another season.

Fenerbahce currently have only one senior forward in Roberto Soldado, but he’s currently sidelined with an injury. Subsequently the Yellow Canaries have made it their priority to sign a forward this summer, with Janssen their prime target.

Janssen struggled with injuries whilst on loan with Fenerbahce last season, but the Turkish club were impressed with his attitude.
