Fanatik claim Galatasaray are targeting Chelsea defender Gary Cahill ahead of the next transfer window.
The experienced centre-back has been linked with a move to Italian giants AC Milan, and Fanatik report the Istanbul club are also in for him.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has identified Cahill as a target as he looks to bring defensive reinforcements. Cim Bom have just three recognised central defenders in their squad, with 18 year old Ozan Kabak being one of those.
It’s reported the Turkish club plan to open talks with Chelsea in the coming weeks and that 32 year old Cahill is looking to leave the Premier League club due to his lack of games under Maurizio Sarri.
Cahill has only played 21 minutes of Premier League football for Chelsea this season, with most of his appearances coming in the cup competitions.
Fanatik claim once Gala manage to sell Maicon they will look to move in on Cahill.
