According to a report in the Polish media, Leeds United hierarchy will not stand in the way of Pawel Cibicki joining Legia Warsaw this summer.

The Swede has been linked with the Polish club after being spotted in the stands last night when Legia Warsaw took on Wisła Płock.

Sportowe Fakty have reported on Legia Warsaw’s interest in the Leeds United attacker and say his situation with the Championship side could result in the 23 year old moving to Poland in the next transfer window.

Cibicki signed for Leeds United in the last summer transfer window from Malmo, but he’s struggled in his debut season at Elland Road. The attacker has played just a handful of games for the club and may need to move on in the next transfer window, even if it’s just on loan.

The Polish media outlet say it’s now expected speculation over Cibicki leaving Leeds United for Legia Warsaw will intensify as the summer transfer window gets closer.

This isn’t the first time the Leeds United outcast has been linked with a move away from the club after claims in the last window Danish club Brondby were in talks with his agent over a move to Denmark.
