Turkey’s AMK Spor claim Besiktas are set to make a renewed attempt to sign Nacer Chadli from West Bromwich Albion.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered claims from Turkey that Besiktas were showing interest in Chadli, and that their manager Senol Gunes wanted a deal to be done.

Chadli impressed for Belgium during the World Cup tjis summer, and the player is unlikely to stay at West Brom following the club’s relegation to the Championship.

AMK Spor say the Besiktas transfer committee is currently in England and they are planning to meet with West Brom officials to present their loan offer.

West Brom may prefer to sell him permanently after his impressive World Cup performances, but Besiktas are hoping they can convince the English club over a loan move due to their financial situation.

Chadli made just 5 Premier League appearances for West Brom and is under contract with the club until June 2020.
