Sassuolo ‘have offers’ from the likes of Everton for midfielder Davide Frattesi, who is being courted by Juventus.
That’s according to TuttoJuve, who say Everton are one of several Premier League sides looking at the 23-year-old central midfielder.
Frattesi has been impressing for Sassuolo this season, with five goals in 21 games so far despite them sitting in the lower half of the table.
His performances have earned him interest from Juventus, who are ‘closely following’ his performances and ‘like the player a lot’.
They have been blocked by Sassuolo’s valuation, though, which is currently €35m and €10m more than Juventus are currently willing to spend on him.
They also know there is Premier League interest in the player and they ‘have offers’ from clubs in England, including Everton, Leicester and Brighton.
It’s believed they could be interested in a move for Frattesi this summer and ‘offer much more’ for the player than Juventus should it come to it.
That would certainly be the case for the Seagulls given the money they’ve made in sales already and the potential money they could make from Moises Caicedo in the summer as well.
Everton’s finances are considerably more precarious but they could also be set to lose Amadou Onana in the summer transfer window and perhaps it is that money Sassuolo believe they could spend on Frattesi.
It remains to be seen if that is the case, but the Italian’s name is certainly one to keep an eye on moving forwards.
