Lazio are currently looking for a new forward to help Ciro Immobile, and it appears intermediaries around Europe are doing their best to find them the right man.

Igli Tare, the club’s director of football, will have sent word out regarding his needs, and those in charge of such matters have come back with many Premier League suggestions.

One of them was Gerard Deulofeu, but it appears their favourite pool was Chelsea’s, as Corriere dello Sport report three players from Frank Lampard’s squad were offered to the Serie A side.

First was Olivier Giroud, who has been looking for a way out from Stamford Bridge for the entirety of the January transfer window, but Lazio’s answer was apparently a ‘no’.

However, this goes against what Sky Italia are saying on Thursday afternoon, explaining the Italian side have reached an agreement with the France international, but are yet to get the ‘definitive OK’ from the Chelsea.

Then came the names of Pedro and Willian.

Corriere explain the Spanish winger was also offered to Roma, while the Brazilian, whose contract expires in the summer, is currently ‘negotiating a renewal’ with Chelsea and ‘wants to stay in London’.

That gives us an answer of where Willian’s future is heading, but there’s no information as to whether or not Lazio have given an answer for Pedro.

Seeing as their preference would be more a striker than a winger, with Cédric Bakambu one of the more ideal candidates for the role, they might only turn to the 32-year-old forward in case things turn very desperate in the final hours of the window.
