Fenerbahçe have been offered a chance to sign West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho, claim Fanatik. The 27 year old has struggled with injuries since his move from Metz to West Ham in 2014.
Fanatik have claimed the West Ham striker has been offered to Fenerbahçe by agents, which suggests a transfer is very much on the cards.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Fenerbahçe will likely look for advice from their former player Moussa Sow, who is good friends with the West Ham player.
The Turkish club are also reportedly in talks with Arsenal’s Lucas Perez and Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, as their search for a forward continues.
With the signing of Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen this week, Sakho’s chances are likely to be limited next season, and he could be offloaded by the Hammers. Sakho’s injuries are likely to be a concern for West Ham, and last season the forward only played four Premier League games.
Sakho’s contract with West Ham runs until June 2018, and if the club don’t wish to extend that, they need a quick sale to avoid losing him for nothing.
