Earlier today, we covered claims from Italy which said Roma director Tiago Pinto is on his way to London to sort some transfer business.

The Giallorossi are said to be close on signing Tammy Abraham from Chelsea, and now scheduled a meeting with club and player to try to beat the competition from Arsenal for the him.

Now it turns out that even if Roma lose this race, there could be more business to be done in the English capital, because according to Calciomercato, a player from the Gunners could be a target for the Italian side as well.

The website reports that Alexandre Lacazette, who’s ‘out of Mikel Arteta’s plans’ was offered to the Giallorossi, as it’s said his departure from the Emirates Stadium could ‘make room’ for Abraham’s arrival.

In Roma’s case, they now find themselves at a ‘crossroad’, because Lacazette makes €4m per season and that’s not impossible to afford.

Meanwhile, Abraham’s transfer would be more expensive, but would have a smaller salary.

Given this new picture, it makes sense that Pinto went to London to sort their quest for a striker.

After all, it sounds like he’ll be back with one of them ready to sign for Roma.
