Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru yesterday won the Turkish Super Lig title with Galatasaray after he scored the all-important second goal against Basaksehir.

The Nigerian winger was in impressive form against the 2nd placed side and he’s been praised in the Turkish media for his contribution during the Istanbul derby.

Fotomac say the Everton owned player is one of the reasons Galatasaray have retained the title, helping the club to a Champions League spot for next season.

It’s reported with the league title now wrapped up Galatasaray are ready to make a move for the 21 year old as they look to keep him for next season. Their manager Faith Terim is keen to have the attacker in his squad for the next campaign and has instructed the board to get a deal done with the Merseyside club.

There have been recent reports they will sit down with Everton to discuss another loan deal, but an agreement may come down to the player being granted a work permit to play in England.

Onyekuru is under contract with Everton until June 2022.
